021 | It’s Not a Party, It’s a Movement
Update: 2016-05-11
Description
This week Adam (@awkeller510) and Dap (@dapisdope) wanted to talk about Jeremy Saulnier’s films Blue Ruin and Green Room. Starting off with Blue Ruin, they set the scene to be able to really get into why Patrick Stewart plays a surprisingly good racist, the usage of violence in film, white mistakes, and more. After that, the guys talk about W. Kamau Bell’s new show, United Shades of America on CNN. In addition to talking about the show itself, they dig into the nitty gritty stuff that comes up when you watch a black person in implicit peril on national television.
